Is Nidec the same company as Shimpo and are the products the same?
Yes, Nidec bought out Shimpo over 20 years ago and sells the exact same products but is managed by a different company. In fact, Nidec was bought out by Daido in April of 2025 and still sells the same products back when Shimpo was the original owners.
